The Last Kiss Review – Jadakiss
The Boy Hollywood
CHAMP MAGAZINE

3.5/5

Pain And Torture

I’m loving this intro. Jada starts off the album with some mean production that sounds real triumphant as he delivers Pain And Torture to haters and wack artists.

Can’t Stop Me Ft. Ayanna Irish

This joints not too bad. It’s been surfacing on the mixtapes and all so it’s not really new to me but the joints not bad. Jada letting the people know there’s stopping this impeccable artist.

Who’s Real Ft. Swizz Beatz & OJ Da Juiceman

Ay Ay! This joint is a monster! Expect this joint to murk the clubs up. It kinda sounds similar to T.I’s In the Air. OJ’s on this joint with the assist. Real mean record.

Grind Hard ft. Mary J Blige

Produced by The Inkredibles, this joint kinda sounds like Nas’ Hero’s. Not really feeling this joint but Jada let’s y’all know he grinds hard to play harder.

Something Else ft. Young Jeezy

Jada hits up the south with Jeezy on the assist. The tracks not too bad. Loving the keys and guitar sample on this joint. Kiss and Jeezy’s trying to tell the world they something else not you’re ordinary dudes rappin’.

One More Step Ft. Styles P

I love when Kiss and Styles do the punch in and out on a joint. I’m loving this joint it’s hot! The two Loxites let y’all know they gon’ make it to the top just one more step.

Stress Ya Ft. Pharell

This sounds like its got single potential. Not really feeling this joint, but Jada and “Fa-Real” talk to ladies in the club and let them know they ain’t gon stress them but just hang out with a star and that iiiiiiiiiit!

What If Ft. Nas

Jada and Nas spit about the”what ifs” in the game. The production on this joint’s ok.

Things I’ve Been Through

This a real smooth joint you can zone out to and relax. Jada takes you on a trip on the things he’s been through all these years he’s been in the game.

I Tried Ft. Avery Storm

This joint’s alright. Jada with the assist from Avery Storm show us they’ve tried to be the best dudes they can be on this joint throughout all the nonsense they’ve faced.

Rockin’ With The Best

This joint’s definitely for the shorties to dance to in the club this summer. Not bad.

Smoking Gun Ft. Jazmine Sullivan

Not really feeling this joint. Jazmine did her thing on this. Jada does some storytelling on this joint

Cartel Gathering Ft. Ghostface Killah and Raekwon

This joint’s not bad at all assisted by Tony Sparks and The Chef. Jadakiss welcomes the vets on this joint and call this whole experience and togetherness on a track a Cartel Gathering. Real Big.

Come & Get Me Ft.S.I & Sheek Louch

It’s gets a bit grimier on this joint as Sheek S.I (Never heard of him) & Jada let it be known that if you wish to play games, go ahead. Jadakiss and his peoples will stay  put until you come and get em.

By My Side Ft. Ne-Yo

I wasn’t really feeling this joint. A lot of people felt this album would tank if this was the first single, which I believe was but we’ll see if Jada can overcome that. Definitely a joint for the ladies so it might make sense that I ain’t feeling this joint.

Something Else Remix Ft. Young Jeezy, Snype Life, Bully AP, Boo Rossini and Blood Raw

Same concept as the original but this time featuring more cats

Death Wish Ft. Lil Wayne
Wooo! This joint is a banger. On a crazy mean instrumental Jadakiss and Weezy discuss cats doing specific things which classify as a death wish. Feels like a real cynical joint.

Letter To B.I.G Ft. Faith Evans

Real nice joint as Kiss spits a letter to the Big homey Mr. Christopher “Frank White” Wallace.
